I just had a google meeting with her and honestly, I don’t recommend her at all. Firstly, she is really unprofessional. I mean, I’m over here talking and she’s focused on playing tug-of-war with her dog. Mind you, she showed me that on camera. She went on to tell me about her dog, what’s his name, showing me how she’s petting him, tricks he knows, etc. Then she showed me her bathroom like she’s clearly not actively listening to me, she could care less about me, and nor does she value or respect me, my time, and my efforts. I also don’t think in any shape, way, or form, it’s good to bad mouth your past or present students. Another thing, I didn’t like how she was throwing words at me left and right..expecting me to keep up and remember everything. She also had her camera off for majority of the time. Than she showed herself, than the dog, than the floor, than back to her and the cycle continued like that. I’m telling you, a total and complete mess. This was so poorly organized and unprepared. Oh on another note, I remember her using the word “ shit “. It also didn’t sit right with me, how she kept pushing me to be with a “ host family “. It took a bit for her to back off and just respect what I wanted. She was also telling me about her cash flow, which I found odd. Why do I need to know about this? What does this concern me? Than telling me, to be in better connection with a cousin of mine who lives in Germany? Who am I to you to tell me what to do and boss me around? I’m not your slave or animal and you’re in no entitlement to speak. You don’t know how that cousin treated me, you don’t know what went on between me and them, you know nothing and you have nothing but ignorance to stand on. Yet she wanna talk about common sense, how funny. I genuinely don’t doubt the slightest, she’s a narcissist. She’s only concerned with herself, soulless, she wants to be the center of attention, she wants to make everything about her, yuck. Please stay away from her. I promise you, you can find a better “ educational consultant “ who will actually live up to that title. I just remembered, she was telling me how there were some people that were misusing something. Then she went on to name countries, Sri Lanka, India, and than said Asia. But why is she taking these negative experiences and applying it to everyone in the country?. Why is she coming for the whole continent of Asia, again based on bad experiences with the people in those countries? Seems pretty childish and immature to me. However, when I told her my bad experience in the Frankfurt airport, she wants to tell me you cannot generalize a whole country or population..which I wasn’t even doing.. But yeah a bit of a hypocrite also, no? STAY AWAY FROM HER!!

I haven’t met anyone who is as authentic, straightforward and effective as Yana. I can confidently say she is someone who’ll help and guide you even when it seems you have no options on the table. Working on my application with her, I learnt a lot of things, and found her feedback on a wide variety of topics to be efficient and effective.
